It is a reasonably flat, fast course that is oblong in the shape of a loop. It has long straight-aways, which are either flat or downhill with the only mild upgrade occurring at the end of the race immediately prior to the flat straight-away to the highly visible finish line. The course winds through the residential Waterbury subdivision of Roselle. It has a wide start. A single water stop is at about the 1.62-mile mark also at race start and finish.

WALKERS are welcome to participate but MUST start at the rear of the crowd thereby enabling the runners an unobstructed access to the racecourse. Child runners may not start on the front line.
